Lisa Schiller (Communications) was invaluable to the DC Hospital Association in her role as newsletter and annual report editor for five years. Her experience in the health care field and her expertise in every aspect of public affairs gave us the external advice and guidance we needed for our major publications. Lisa routinely took care of all details for four newsletters a year and the annual report, working with designers and printers, editing copy, and meeting all deadlines. She was uniquely able to find designers and printers who understood the limited budgets of nonprofits without sacrificing quality. Lisa's efforts helped the Association clarify and articulate our messages to many audiences, whether politicians, community or board, and she helped portray just the right tone with each publication.
